STEVENS MEDIA WAR ON BLOGGERS
As we reported previously, Stevens Media, has been on a lawsuit binge filing at least 50 copyright actions against bloggers and websites using their content. Stevens Media, which owns newspapers in 9 states including its flagship the Las Vegas Review , has assigned copyrights to some of its articles to a Righthaven which has brought each suit. They are now even going after local personalities and sources for their stories. The Internet Law Center discussed Steven’s tactics along with a local Las Vegas anchor who has been named in one of the suits on the June 16thInBoxed on WebmasterRadio (listen).
