Congress Increases Scrutiny Over Privacy
Commerce Committee Chairman Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) introduced the Senate version of Do-Not-Track legislation – making it the sixth major privacy bill introduced this Congress. (ClickZ has a comparison of the six bills). Rockefeller’s committee also has focused on mobile privacy, particularly geo-tracking by mobile devices such as the iPhone and Android.
